Meaning of Kathak
"Kathak" has evolved from the word "Katha". The word Kathak depicts story telling. In ancient days Kathak performer or Kathakar were telling various mythological stories of Ramayana, Mahabharat, Vedas, Purans , Krishna Leela by the help of dance movement of Kathak.
